Color Junction

Color Junction

This is a simple game where the object is to remove all the pieces or dots.  Two or more dots must be connected in order to remove it. There are no high scores just a note to let you know how many dots you have left.  There is no pressure and no time limit. This particular game is set  to medium difficulty for this page.

This game also can be found at http://debraford123.googlepages.com/home

there are many other games on the site

Shared Feed Items

December 10th, 2006 by debraford123

I have created a Shared items Blog page which is now available. The list (which will be added to) can be viewed together as a group even though they are posted on different sites. Many are many by me, but, also including syndicates feeds (public blog postings) by others.  RSS means "Really Simple Syndication"  The text and pictures posted would be the same as on the original posts.  The backgrounds and css formatting is striped from the pages during the outgoing feed process.  This is the standard. Unlike many of my imported feeds that show title and a snippet from the site many of these will be full reposted feeds. In addition to my own feeds I will include some of my favorites and music artist that I have elected to promote. Sure it’s nice to write all the articles yourself, but the truth is …this all takes time.  So, those who actively participate in their own promotion and do "Blogs" are easier groups to promote than those who only do bulletins. (hint, hint)

They are available as a page at http://www.google.com/reader/shared/04372968974259360733

To subscribe to the feed which will incorporate the wider collection of multiple blog entries at many different sites the RSS / Atom feed link is http://www.google.com/reader/public/atom/user/04372968974259360733/state/com.google/broadcast  Sorry, no little orange button this time.  (Just set it up today, okay) You must have a feed reader to use the second link. Any one who has upgraded to IE7 already have this feature built into their browser.  This option is good because, If I put all my feed entries on this shared page then everyone will only have to subscribe to one page.  Of course, I will have no way of knowing who you are, but that’s the breaks.

The listing is not in the order of the original posting.  It will show up in the order that I save them to share files. Also, at the time I update any of the blog posts they will be updated on the share blog page. Likewise, I can re-share them and move the items back to the top page.

Other entries will be added. This first group that made the list are from my earlier Blogspot entries, which would show up on the last page.  The entries will begin to show up like a single site rather than scattered every where.  I will use a similar feature to bring everything together on my website so, I can continue to make post for different network communities and still have time to work on my stuff without forgetting about my friends.

I think the way Google pulled it together has a rather clean look.  I am comparing the various applications in redesigning my website.   So even though I will be real busy the next few months, I will be passing through here regularly and won’t be totally out of touch.  There may be some delay in response time to personal questions though.  I feel it’s better to be a little slow than a lotta wrong.  So be kind and patient so I don’t pull out my hair.  If you find a favorite amongst the different styles I am playing with leave a comment.  I am somewhat open at this stage, since the rebuild is still very much in progress.

Right now it may seem like repeat topics, but the actual share page will begin to show newer entries real soon including my post here at myspace which you may have missed and have trouble finding because of the way the archives are set up. So hopefully it will help you find my older postings and code postings down the road.  I will update this post when the other items are added..

I am going to try to put the code related questions last so they will show up closer to the top page this week.

There will be quite a few because I have posted about 200 posts at myspace alone. Each shared item in this format is done individually.  It is NOT totally automated.

Now, the friends only posts will not show up on this feed. Those that were made for myspace friends specifically will be available only here unless I post an edited version for public post in addition to the original.  Don’t worry, I won’t delete content just so I can put the topic on public feed.

The postings show the original source and there are links to the original pages.  Some of the topics may look very much alike.  But when I post at different sites I sometimes put different text depending on whether the network focus is about art, or images, or whatever the themed slant is at that blog.  So sometimes there may be the same pictures with different text.

Perhaps you will get a better idea of all that I’ve been up to and now understand why I don’t have time to post comments or do im with everyone.  I sill have to have time to do business, art, domestic stuff  and play games.  Did I say playI meant review games.(cough)

123Clipmarks website clips - static clip roll

October 28th, 2006 by debraford123

These are Clips of websites that I have posted at clipmarks with links to the original sources.  Comments have been added to many.  This is a static clip roll meaning that it will not automatically refresh with new clips when added, (which requires java script).  Th links will take you to the clipmarks site where the clips are located. You do not need to register to view clips.  That is only necessary if you want to add comments or make your own clips.

Mountain Foothills in El Paso,TX

October 28th, 2006 by debraford123

Looking north at 5 Points  in El Paso, Texas You can clearly see mountains.  In a car on city streets you can reach those foothills in 5 minutes, if you know the route.  On foot you can hike there in about 30 minutes if you are into walking uphill. This is very much in town to the right of this photo are banking, a Walgreens, restaurants, auto supply stores and many other establishments. There is green vegetation growing on the mountains, but most of it is cactus varieties.  So, to climb the smaller hills is a bit intimidating, unless you are sure footed. The concept of recovering from a slip is huge if you fall on stickers.  On this particular mountain patch there are what looks like large radio antenna, which is exceedingly important in mountainous areas.

Video Playlists

October 28th, 2006 by debraford123

These Videos are playlists I created at Youtube and sorted by groups (with the exception of my vlog which has most of these videos included.) I make the playlist because it saves others from going through the same trouble I did.  That way when you do have time to search you can focus on other groups.  I guess one of my next goals is to make playlists here at Friendster.

    El Paso,Texas Daily Weather

    October 28th, 2006 by debraford123

This Weather page will update daily.  I have actually put a full weather page for El Paso TX at http://www.debraford123.com/weather/   It is in progress and I am pretty sure that I will change the colors on that page.  The full weather page includes forecasts and everything about the area’s weather.  I will add additional cities, but you can actually see you full city forecast by typing in your zip code.   It’s a lot like the weather pages you already have access to without all the blinking ads and a whole lot more weather information choices.   The first 3 cities I will add are Houston, New Orleans and El Paso.  Additional cities will be chosen and added in. I will post area weather maps for people on my friend’s list cities here.
